Feb 14, 2020

For the third year in a row, Youth Villages’ employees helped the organization achieve the Great Place To Work® certification.

The coveted honor is based on anonymous online surveys completed by Youth Villages staff across the country.

These included the extent to which employees trust leaders, the respect with which people are treated, the fairness of workplace decisions, and how much camaraderie there is among the team.

Rankings are based on employees’ experiences, no matter who they are or what they do for the organization.

  • 93% of staff feel they are given a lot of responsibility
  • 92% feel good about the ways the organization contributes to the community
  • 88% feel a sense of pride from the organization’s accomplishments

The top five areas employees cited as making Youth Villages a unique place to work included: the mission; parental leave benefits; the organization’s internal fundraising and support program, Our Family Campaign; the annual employee conference; and a sense of family.
