Stephanie Cole-Farris has an extensive background in mental health assessment and is a licensed clinical social worker.
Prior to becoming director at Bill’s Place, she served as the director of the Boys Center for Intensive Residential Treatment for four years. She began her career with Youth Villages in 1999 as an in-home specialist after completing her bachelor’s degree in psychology/biology from Christian Brothers University and her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee in Memphis.
She advanced to senior supervisor and obtained her Licensed Clinical Social Worker designation while working in the in-home program in 2003. That same year, Stephanie assisted in the launch of the Tennessee’s Specialized Crisis Services Program as the regional supervisor for West Tennessee, where she monitored all levels of mental health crisis intervention and program oversight for five years.
She has 20 years of experience in community–based mental health care and RTC programs.
