Rebecca Hancock, Regional Residential Director

Rebecca Hancock, LCSW, serves as Regional Residential Director at Youth Villages. Her previous roles have included director of residential projects, executive director of Youth Villages Oregon, director of residential programs in Oregon, and director of the Youth Villages Girls Center for Intensive Residential Treatment in Memphis, Tennessee. She has expertise in building effective teams who work with children with the most severe emotional and behavioral problems.

Hancock began her career at Youth Villages as a teacher-counselor on a residential campus in 1994. She has worked as a clinical liaison, special projects and placement coordinator, program specialist and regional community-based program manager. As assistant director of clinical services, she was involved in clinical treatment decisions for children helped in Youth Villages’ intensive in-home services, foster care and residential programs across 11 states and the District of Columbia.

Hancock earned her bachelor’s degree from Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss., and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Tennessee. She is a licensed clinical social worker in Tennessee.
