Ken Kimble – Managing Director of Development for Regional Growth
As managing director of development for regional growth, Ken Kimble is responsible for providing leadership to, and growing, mid-level giving programs throughout the Youth Villages national service footprint. In doing so, Kimble serves as a strategic and tactical fundraising coach; supporting the state/regional development staff and volunteer advisory boards in the cultivation and solicitation of gifts and gift strategies. In this role, he serves as a liaison to Youth Villages’ national headquarters in Memphis for all state/regional development staff. Kimble joined Youth Villages in 2019 after five years at his alma mater, Christian Brothers High School in Memphis, TN, where he successfully planned and executed a $25 million-dollar capital campaign by identifying, stewarding and soliciting transformational gifts from alumni and friends across the United States. In addition to his success at CBHS, Kimble spent much of his career with the Boy Scouts of America in both Memphis, TN, and Dallas, TX, where he set local and national fundraising records as a field executive. He has also successfully served as a development officer for the University of Tennessee Foundation and the Wolf River Conservancy, both in Memphis, TN. Kimble serves on the boards of the Chickasaw Council, BSA and the Kia Kima Alumni Association, the summer camp where he once served as camp director. Volunteering comes naturally to Kimble, an Eagle Scout, who enjoys giving time to his children’s school and his church community. He was named to the Memphis Business Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40” in 2012 and holds the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification. Kimble graduated from the University of Memphis with a degree in Political Science. He resides in Memphis with his wife Amy and their daughters, Davis and Erin.
