Brittany Farrar, Program Director – Specialized Crisis Services

Brittany Farrar is the program director of specialized crisis services for Tennessee.

Joining Youth Villages in 2007 as a foster care counselor in the Cookeville, Tennessee office in 2009, she later moved into the clinical supervisor role. In 2011, she was promoted to regional supervisor for the YVLifeSet, Intercept, and Foster Care programs in Middle Tennessee and soon advanced to the regional manager position that also included responsibilities for the adoption program. Farrar also served as assistant director of those programs.

Prior to working at Youth Villages, Farrar worked as a legislative assistant with a government relations firm and she also served in an inpatient psychiatric hospital in Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Florida State University and a Master of Science in social work from the University of Tennessee.

Farrar is an avid Florida State Seminoles football fan. When not rooting for her favorite team, she loves to spend time outdoors cycling, hiking, kayaking, and motorcycle riding.
