Youth Villages serves families in Washington, D.C. through intensive in-home services
Youth Villages began treating young people in the foster care system in Washington, D.C. in 2005 using Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST).

Youth Villages programs work in Washington, D.C. Based on research conducted one year post-discharge,* of children from Washington, D.C, who received at least 60 days of service in the MST program:
- 65% of youth are at home with family
- 72% of youth report no trouble with the law
- 86% of youth are in school, have graduated from high school, or are in GED classes
