Youth Villages Oregon serves families through intensive in-home services and YVLifeSet.
Note: Youth Villages Oregon has begun winding down its residential program on the Christie Campus and will close the program by March 1, 2016. We’ve determined that, in Oregon, we need to renew our focus on how we can best help meet the needs of the state’s youth and families, which for now is through our community-based programs. Oregon has a high rate of youth in foster care, and we believe that they are best raised by their families. Research shows that youth who spend time in foster care face incredible challenges. Our biggest program in Oregon, Intercept intensive in-home services, strengthens and restores families so parents can safely raise their own children. Our YVLifeSet program is the largest in the country and one of the only programs proven to help young people who age out of foster care become successful adults.
We look forward to continuing to partner with the state to provide the services that best meet the changing needs of Oregon youth and families.
