Youth Villages serves families in North Carolina through intensive in-home services and transitional living

Since beginning service in the state in 2005, Youth Villages has expanded rapidly in North Carolina and now offers intensive in-home and transitional living services from locations across the state. Youth Villages is certified by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services as a Critical Access Behavioral Health Agency (CABHA).

Success in North Carolina
Youth Villages treats young people in North Carolina through Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) and we are the only statewide MST provider.

Youth Villages’ MST in-home program works in North Carolina. Based on research conducted one year post-discharge*, of North Carolina children with at least 60 days of service:

  • 84% of youth are at home with family or in a home-like setting
  • 74% of youth report no trouble with the law
  • 84% of youth are in school, have graduated from high school, or are in GED classes

*These percentages reflect outcomes recorded through September 2011
