Youth Villages serves families in Massachusetts through intensive in-home services and transitional living
Youth Villages began serving families in Massachusetts through our Intercept intensive in-home program in 2007. We've expanded our services to six locations in the state, including the Boston area through our Woburn office and residential care through the Germaine Lawrence Campus. In addition to intensive in-home services, our transitional living program helps young adults aging out of the Massachusetts foster care system adjust to adult life and the challenges that transition can present.
Success in Massachusetts
Youth Villages programs work in Massachusetts. Based on research conducted one year post-discharge,* of the children from Massachusetts who have received at least 60 days of service in our in-home program:
- 74% of youth are at home with family
- 85% of youth report no trouble with the law
- 91% of youth are in school, have graduated from high school, or are in GED classes
*These percentages reflect outcomes recorded through June 2012
