Youth Villages serves families in Alabama through intensive in-home services and foster care
Youth Villages began operations in the state of Alabama in 2002, serving the Huntsville and Anniston areas with the Intercept intensive in-home services program. Today, Youth Villages provides family preservation, reunification and continuum services in six Alabama locations through our Therapeutic Foster Care, Intercept, and Multisystemic Therapy (MST) programs.
Success in Alabama
Youth Villages programs work in Alabama. Based on research conducted one year post-discharge,* of the children from Alabama who have received at least 60 days of service:
79% of youth are at home with family
91% of youth report no trouble with the law
91% of youth are in school, have graduated from high school, or are in GED classes
*These percentages reflect outcomes recorded through March 2011
