There’s ample space set aside indoors and outdoors for the girls receiving help on the Youth Villages Germaine Lawrence Campus to participate in recreational activities. Each residential building on our campus includes shared spaces for the girls to come together to talk, read, watch movies, play board or video games, draw and write. The campus also features a gym, an art room, a library, a fitness room and an outdoor turf playing field. Our activity program includes:

Boston is known as a world hub for social innovation and culture, and we take advantage of the rich and varied array of community resources, including visits to museums, tours of Boston’s historic sites and trips to our mountains and beaches.

Located within walking distance of the Arlington Heights business and shopping district, girls with community access and home pass privileges also have easy access to public transportation and the many cultural and historic attractions in nearby Cambridge and Boston.
