Paul Bower

Paul O. Bower is chairman, chief executive officer and president of Education Realty Trust. During his 37-year tenure with the company, Bower has served as executive vice president of development and, prior to that, senior vice president of management contract development. He has more than 20 years of experience managing residential housing for university students at the University of North Carolina, University of Wisconsin and West Virginia University. Bower is a certified property manager (CPM) and a certified hotel administrator (CHA). He currently serves on the Cornell Alumni Finance and Administration subcommittee and is a member of the Cornell Society of Hotelmen, the Memphis Board of Realtors and the Association of College and University Housing Officers -- International Research and Education Foundation.  He holds a bachelor's degree in hotel administration from Cornell University.
