What does a Youth Villages Mental Health Therapists do?
In Mississippi, mental health therapists work with at-risk youth and their families in their homes providing 24-hour support and individual and/or family therapy as determined by the family and wraparound team. Their goal is to address the underlying needs of the child identified on the individualized service plan and to help the child achieve long-term success at home, in school and in the community.

My family is so very important to me. They are my backbone, my source of strength, my unlimited support.

But there are so many children who live a different reality, filled with abuse, neglect, mental health issues or other trauma. When families fall apart, children’s lives fall apart. But there’s hope.

At Youth Villages, we help children and families by strengthening the entire family, working with teachers and schools, neighbors and friends. Helping families is so much more than a job. It’s my passion.

Join our team as a Mental Health Therapist. Full-time and hourly contract work is available for licensed professionals across the state of Mississippi.
