Helping Children And Families Live Successfully.

Hero-Shot-Sample Be a mentor. The rewards are endless.

Mentors can make a powerful, positive difference in the lives of children who have emotional and behavioral problems. Studies show that children who have just one consistent, caring adult in their lives are less likely to drop out of school, have fewer run-ins with the law and build better relationships with their own families.

Mentors are more than friends to our children. They are often the first positive adult role model our children have ever had. By showing they care, mentors give our children reasons to smile, work on their treatment and hope for a brighter tomorrow. Mentors make a six-month commitment and typically take their child for off-campus activities two to four times a month.

Right now, more than 400 mentors are actively helping children through our programs. Many more are needed. To become a mentor, or for more information, please complete our online mentor inquiry form or visit one of our regional pages to reach a mentor coordinator in your area.
