To better meet the needs of children and families in Oregon, the boards of directors of Oregon-based ChristieCare and Tennessee-based Youth Villages have agreed to a merger.

ChristieCare/Youth Villages merger will bring new resources to program for Native American children
The merger will bring new resources and support for the Cedar Bough program at the Clackamas River. The program offers culturally responsive residential treatment for Native American children and helps children from the nine tribes native to Oregon, tribes throughout the Pacific Northwest and Native Alaskan children.

Youth Villages invites the Worcester community and anyone interested in learning how Youth Villages’ programs are helping strengthen and transform families in the Worcester area to a free open house on Feb. 17, 4-6 p.m. at the Youth Villages office at 324 Grove St. in Worcester.
