Show Your Support for YV

Tennessee residents can show their support for Youth Villages with a specialty license plate for cars registered in the State of Tennessee.

Each plate costs $35, in addition to the regular license plate fee. Youth Villages will receive $15 for each plate sold. Funds raised will go to support the Transitional Living program, which helps older children aging out of foster care transition into adulthood. Learn more about Transitional Living.

		Q. Can I order a plate if I do not live in Tennessee? This is a Tennessee specialty license plate. It is available only for vehicles registered in Tennessee. Q. How can I order a Youth Villages specialty license plate? Contact your local county clerk's office or download the order form (PDF). Q. If I have already gone through inspection and received my new tags, do I have to pay to get new tags for the new plate? If you still have time left on your current plate and tags when you receive notification that your Youth Villages specialty plate is ready, then the fee will be prorated and your new Youth Villages specialty plate will expire one year from the time you pick up your plate. Q. How much is it each year to keep the plate? The specialty license plate annual fee is $35. Personalizing your plate will increase the annual fee by an additional $35. Q. How much money goes to Youth Villages? $15.00 of each plate will come back to Youth Villages to support its Transitional Living program. Q. Can I order this plate for a commercial vehicle? A specialty plate can not be used on a commercial vehicle.
