What we look for

What we look for:
YV 360 is an exceptional group of recent college graduates. We look for soon-to-be graduates from a BA program in the social services field graduating by spring of the current academic year (with program starting in June/July). In addition, we look for the following:

  • A significant amount of leadership experience, such as:
    • On-campus involvement
    • Athletics
    • Leadership positions at work
    • Community involvement
    • High level of professionalism
    • Strong career ambition
    • Obvious display of strong work ethic, especially in the face of adversity
  • A significant amount of clinical experience working with relevant populations:
    • Clinical Internships/Practicums/Field Placements
    • Mentoring inner-city or at-risk youth
    • Volunteering with inner-city or at-risk youth on a regular basis
    • Working with mentally/behaviorally challenged children (autistic, ODD, ADHD, etc.)
    • Case Management with children and/or families
    • Experience working in a residential setting a major plus
    • Experience with evidence-based therapeutic treatment philosophies a major plus
    • Experience developing creative therapeutic interventions a major plus

Youth Villages is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to helping emotionally and behaviorally troubled children and their families live successfully.
