GOODY's Family Clothing of Jackson is a new partner for Youth Villages' Jackson Office. GOODY's will offer a discount to foster parents that have a child placed in their home in need of clothing items. Pictured is Eugene Veazey, an employee of GOODY's in Jackson.
"We are deeply grateful for GOODY's support of our children and families," says Lydia Nicks, a foster parent trainer with Youth Villages. "Foster children are all too often overlooked by our society. But they are one of our most vulnerable group of children. Many of them have survived unimaginable trauma in their birth family homes. Most enter foster care with only a few clothes, a toothbrush and little else. GOODY's is helping make a difference in the lives of Jackson's foster children, and I want to say thanks on behalf of all our foster kids and families."
