Matt and Deborah Hamilton certified their home for foster care in July 2009 and have already started the journey in helping children and families live sucessfully! They will take a placement in August if all goes as planned.
James and Tamela Bryant of Jackson are a new certified home and will be providing respite services for the Jackson Office. They are very excited about their new role in helping children succeed.
If you are interested in learning more about becoming a foster parent, please attend a Foster Care Orientation Class. To become a certified foster parent, you must take PATH (Parents as Tender Healers) training classes.
Training class schedule to be announced.
Youth Villages foster parents receive free training, monthly reimbursements to help offset the costs of adding a child to their household and ongoing support from trained counselors. For more information about becoming a foster parent, attending orientation or registering for training classes, please contact Lydia Nicks at (731) 660-6774.
