Betsy Walkup

Betsy Walkup is co-founder and president of Parents for Education, an advocacy organization, and vice-chair of Nashville's Metropolitan Benefit Board per appointment by Mayor Bill Purcell. Mrs. Walkup also serves on the Youth Villages Middle Tennessee Advisory Board and the boards of directors of Friends of Public Schools and the PENCIL Foundation. She was chair of the Metropolitan Nashville Board of Public Education from 1998-2000.
