Youth Villages is expanding YVLifeSet and Intercept not only as a direct service provider but also through partnerships with local providers. There are many strong service providers across the country, committed to at-risk children and transition-age youth and interested in delivering proven interventions to achieve the greatest impact with these vulnerable populations. In select geographies, Youth Villages will train and support other high-quality service providers to offer YVLifeSet and/or Intercept. The network of providers will enable us to share best practices and collectively advocate for federal funding to support these vulnerable populations. In selecting such partners, we look for strengths in the following areas:
- High standards and quality, as measured by implementation of evidence-based programs and rigorous tracking of outcomes.
- Alignment on mission and values, as measured by the organization’s mission, leadership, commitment to at-risk children/young adults/families and services that are community-based.
- Scale and capacity, as measured by numbers of children and families served, geographic reach, revenue, strength of relationships with state leaders, local foundations and referral sources.
