Carlos Hawkins, Campus Director - Deer Valley

Carlos Hawkins is Director of the Deer Valley campus located in Linden, Tennessee.

Hawkins joined Youth Villages in 2000 as a teacher/counselor at the Bartlett residential campus. He was promoted to supervisor on that campus and later became a group home program manager in Jackson, Tennessee. In 2006, Hawkins relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, and was promoted to Regional Manager of the group homes. Most recently served as an Assistant Director in Nashville.

A graduate of Grambling State University, Hawkins double majored in Psychology and Sociology. While in college, he played in the renowned Tiger Marching Band, performing in 32 of 50 states and Super Bowl XXXII's "Tribute to Motown."

Hawkins has one daughter, Aniyah Carlese, who is the center of his world.
