Ann Meeks, Senior Director - Grants and Development Research

Ann Meeks

As Senior Director - Grants and Development Research at Youth Villages, Ann Meeks coordinates research, analysis and communications efforts toward securing corporate and foundation support for Youth Villages.

Before joining Youth Villages in 2007, Meeks served as associate vice chancellor for development at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She has worked in grants and foundation administration at Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation and ALSAC-St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She has held positions at Buckman Laboratories and the Memphis Public Library.

In addition to her vast experience in fundraising, Meeks is also known for her historical columns in The Commercial Appeal. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in history from the University of Memphis.

Youth Villages is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to helping emotionally and behaviorally troubled children and their families live successfully. The EFR approach produces lasting success for children with success rates twice that of traditional services at one-third the cost of traditional care.
