Marietta Davis

Marietta Davis is vice president of U.S. Dynamics at Microsoft. She is responsible for leading more than 300 technical professionals who serve Microsoft's business customers with Dynamics ERP and CRM Solutions, across all customer segments.

Davis was appointed vice president in December 2013. In her first year, Davis grew the business by double digits and exceeded quota. She defined a strong vision for the future of Microsoft Dynamics to revolutionize new industries through partners and customers. Her demonstrated success and ability to lead a large-scale organization influenced the decision to appoint her to lead Microsoft’s transformation of business applications into a mobile-first, cloud-first company.

Throughout her 15-year career at Microsoft, Davis has held various leadership roles. In 2009, Davis led the Greater Southeast District Enterprise and Partner Group as the general manager for four years. In the general manager role, she was responsible for overseeing the sales, marketing and service delivery functions to Microsoft’s enterprise customers. Under her guidance, her team won the largest Windows Phone 8 and Dynamics deal in the fiscal year. She also led Microsoft’s Heartland District for four years, beginning in 2005. In that role, Davis managed all offices in the multi-state district and consistently met revenue goals in the range of $500 million, annually.

Davis is a dynamic leader who has more than 30 years of sales and sales leadership experience. She also possesses superior communications, planning and customer relationship management abilities with a unique expertise in anticipating change in the business landscape, which allows her to increase organizational effectiveness and capability. She has proven expertise in importing and exporting top talent with an emphasis on diversity.

A graduate of Bradley University with an MBA from Loyola University, Davis has a passion for education. She is a champion of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and encourages young women to enter technology fields. Davis is an energetic member of the Atlanta community where she invests her time in mentoring and helping others achieve their full potential. In 2011, she was recognized as one of Atlanta’s “Superwomen” by the Atlanta Tribune for her work helping to elevate young professionals. She is a proud supporter of Youth Villages, TechBridge and the Autism Society of America.
