Situated at the southeast corner of the state in the valley of Lookout and Signal Mountains along the banks of the Tennessee River, Chattanooga is known as the Scenic City. Over the years Chattanooga has attracted outdoor enthusiasts who come to this area seeking adventure, whether it is hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting or hang gliding.
As the fourth largest city in the state, Chattanooga finds itself somewhere between a small city and a big town. With attractions like the Tennessee Aquarium, Ruby Falls, Rock City, The Children's Creative Discovery museum and the famous Chattanooga Choo-Choo as well as events such as a week long music festival Riverbend, the summer nighttime concert series Nightfall, the Fall Color Cruise and the Southern Writers Conference, Chattanooga has more than enough to entertain adults and children alike.
"Not too small and not too big, Chattanooga is really the undiscovered gem of Tennessee, where old-school Southern manners and grand Victorian mansions meet a thoroughly modern, eco-friendly Tennessee riverfront."-- The New York Times
Youth Villages began serving children and families in the Chattanooga area in 2001.
Today we have a staff over 30; our counselors provide Intensive In-Home services, Therapeutic Foster Care and Specialized Crisis Services.
