Inner Harbour History
Inner Harbour has been successfully treating children and adolescents since 1962 and joined the Youth Villages family in 2009.The life of a child or adolescent should be a happy time filled with wholesome activities and strong, positive relationships. The reality for thousands of Georgia children is just the opposite, and for those young people there is the Youth Villages Inner Harbour Campus. We give children a chance to make a new beginning free from illegal substances and removed from the abuse that stole their ability to trust others.
As an established community of well-trained and caring professionals, our staff is dedicated to helping youth and families confront and respond to life's challenges in a safe, unique, natural and cost-effective environment including experiential therapies and state of the art residential treatment programs. Inner Harbour is the only residential treatment center in Georgia offering educational services accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools for over twenty-five years, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations, and the Association of Experiential Education.
